The town of Huay Pix is located next to Laguna Milagros, one of the multiple lagoons that is located in the extreme south of Quintana Roo and that form a large lagoon system next to Laguna de Bacalar and the Hondo River, Laguna Milagros is famous for its beauty and for being an important tourist destination in the region.
